Ferengi Rules of Acquisition
The Rules of Acquisition are two hundred eighty-five rules that conduct Ferengi behavior, in life as well as business. The Rules of Acquisition have forty-seven commentaries, nine hundred major and minor judgments, and ten thousand considered opinions.

The Salvage Code states that anything found abandoned is open to claim by those who find it.

A pledge required of Starfleet personnel who are native to the planet Delta IV to assure they will not take advantage of other, sexually immature humanoid species.

Seldonis IV Convention
Interstellar treaty governing the treatment of prisoners of war.
Both the United Federation of Planets and the Cardassian Union were signatories to the accord.

Treaty of Algeron
Peace accord between Earth and the Romulan Star Empire that concluded the Romulan Wars.
The Treaty of Algeron established the Romulan Neutral Zone, violation of which by either side without adequate notification would be considered an act of war.

The Treaty of Algeron also forbids the Federation from developing or using cloaking device technology in its spacecraft.

Treaty of Armens
Established in 2255 between the Sheliak Corporate and the United Federation of Planets, the treaty cedes several Class-H planets from the Federation to the Sheliak.
A Federation colony was established on Tau Cygna V in the 2270s in violation of the Treaty of Armens. The Sheliak exercised their rights to order the colony removed in 2366.
The treaty contained 500,000 words and took 372 Federation legal experts to draft.
